Dip is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and expect our users to do the same. This policy outlines the procedures for reporting alleged copyright infringement and for filing a counter-notification if you believe your content was wrongly removed.
Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe that material on Dip infringes upon your copyright, please send a written DMCA notice to our designated Copyright Agent with the following information:
- A clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- A clear identification of the material you claim is infringing and its location on Dip (e.g., URL link to the specific content).
- Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent with the following information:
- A clear identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled (e.g., URL link).
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Dip may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
